Victor Hugo Lenius, 87, Frazee, MN died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the Perham Memorial Hospital in Perham, Minnesota. At Victor's request, there will be no services for him. Arrangements were handled by Furey Funeral Home in Frazee, Minnesota. To leave online condolences, visit www: fureyfh.com.
Victor was born on August 21, 1923, in Hobart Township near Frazee, MN to Hugo and Louise "Lizzie" (Seibold) Lenius. He was raised and educated in Frazee. Throughout his life, Victor worked on the family farm, drove truck for the milk plant in Perham, MN, drove truck for Tony Dretsch and, for most of his working life he worked as an oiler on heavy equipment with projects in Minnesota and North Dakota. He loved driving Fords, fishing, trapping pocket gophers and hunting, loading his own hunting shells. Victor was a strong supporter of the Becker County Museum and Historical Society.
He is survived by three brothers: Arthur Lenius of Brooklyn Center, MN, Walter (Sharon) Lenius of Detroit Lakes, MN, Howard Lenius of Frazee, MN and one sister, Amy (John) Fletcher of Brainerd, MN.
Preceding Victor in death were his parents and one sister, Dorothy Williams.
