Stanley Lehmann

Stanley Dean Lehmann was born May 26, 1956 in Park Rapids, Minnesota, the son of Eugene and Elaine (Jessen) Lehmann.  He passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Sanford Health on Broadway in Fargo, North Dakota.

He grew up and attended school in Detroit Lakes, graduating from Detroit Lakes High School in 1974.  Stanley continued his education at Detroit Lakes Vo-Tech studying diesel mechanics.

On June 14, 1980 he was united in marriage to Ruthann Wegscheid at St. Stanislaus Church in Perham, Minnesota. To this union four children were born. They made their home in the Frazee area.

Stanley worked as a diesel mechanic at Gabors and STS Trucking, before becoming a truck driver.  He drove truck for STS Trucking and Anderson Western out of Bismarck, North Dakota.

He enjoyed restoring and driving tractors, attending Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion in Rollag, Minnesota, and having bonfires at his house. Stan especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Stanley is survived by his wife: Ruthann Lehmann; children: Tim Lehmann, Lori Lehmann, Wendy (Joe) Steffens, Sherri (Tim) Hoverson; grandchildren: Alexis, Isak, Ethan, Joshua, Charlotte, Eden, Asher, Lance; mother: Elaine Lehmann; siblings: Larry (Doris) Lehmann, Tom Lehmann, Julie (Greg) Buckley, Terry (Kathy) Lehmann, Carmen (Dewey) Huseby, Brenda Lehmann.

He was preceded in death by his father: Eugene Lehmann; brother: Timothy Lehmann in infancy.

Visitation will be Monday, September 27, 2021 from 3 to 6:00 PM at the David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes, MN.  A time of sharing with the family at 6:00 PM.
