Stacy Lynn (Kundo) Cruz

Stacy (Kundo) Cruz, age 56, of Pelican Rapids Mn. passed away Saturday September 1, 2022. Stacy was born September 9, 1965, in Minot, North Dakota, to Kermit and Carol (McCloskey) Kundo. She grew up and attended school at Frazee-Vergas, graduating with the class of 1983. She attended Fergus Falls Community College in 1991 and also completed many classes on-line to earn her many degrees.  Stacy was blessed with two daughters who blessed her with ten grandchildren which she loved all very much and spent many days and hours doing things together with them.

Stacy enjoyed many hobbies; she was an avid and talented crocheter who was taught to her by her grandmother.  She also loved to bake, can, and cook and made the best homemade tamales for the holidays.  Stacy always like family holiday gatherings and was always looking forward to them. Stacy was a willing to help in any way she could, she volunteered at the Twice Blessed Thrift Store and continued to volunteer however she could right up to her death.

Stacy is survived by her two adult daughters Jessica Kundo Fargo, N.D., June Rushton Fargo, N.D., mother Carol Kundo (Randy Burrows) Frazee Mn., brother Les (Janine) Kundo Perham, Mn., David Kundo Perham Mn., sisters Jennifer(Shane) Wierderholt Hoffman, Mn., half-brother Kermit(Heather)Kundo Jr. WI, half-sister Terry Randall(Roger Mansker) Az., Krystal Kundo(Ryan Szarkowitz) WI , stepmother Marie Flechner-Haring WI, Aunt Jo (Arthur) Jaegar WI. Grandchildren Aldo, Bianca, Emannuel, Moeses, Josiah, Ziva, Milly, Angel, Quinten, Blessing, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Stacy is preceded in death by her father Kermit Kundo, maternal and paternal grandparents Lester and Dorothy McCloskey, Floyd Kundo, Roy, and Hazel Jersey and her maternal and paternal great grandparents.

The family will be having a memorial service at Harvest Fellowship Church in Frazee, MN at 11:30am on Friday, September 30, 2022.
