Ronald Marschall

Ronald "Ron" Raymond Marschall, age 78, passed away on November 30, 2020, at his home in West Fargo, North Dakota.

Ron was born December 25, 1941, in Bertha, MN, to Paul and Eleanor (Kuehl) Marschall. He was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bertha. After graduation, he enlisted into the Air Force January 1959 and was honorable discharged January 1965. He was 1 of 5, in the family of 8, who served in the military.

Ron worked for Zurn Farms, Steffl Farms and Callaway Grain Mill. His truck driving career was with E.W. Wylie Trucking, Ruan Trucking and Crysal Sugar to name a few. He received many awards for Trucker of the Month and Mileage Awards. He received 2 Wylie belt buckle awards which he was very proud of.

Ron enjoyed fishing, hunting and many outdoorsman activities. A treasured trip to the Broken Arrow Resort created some of the best memories of a great time he had. In his younger years, he enjoyed snowmobiling with friends. Ron was a member of the American Black & Tan Coonhound Association.

Ron was a kind, gentle person who would do anything for you.

Ron is survived by his sisters: Darlene Bruns, Sharon (Bob) Burgess, Klonda (Joe) Budetich; brother-in-law: Gordon Parks; sister-in-law Lenore Marschall; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and godchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Eleanor; infant son; brothers: Paul, George, Harlan; sister: Shirley Parks; sister-in-law: Marrieann Marschall; brother-in-law: Elmer Bruns.

Burial with Military Honors will take place at 1:00PM, February 19, 2021, at National Cemetery in Fargo, ND.  Located at: 8709 40th Ave N, Harwood, ND 58042
