Margie Mindermann-Zuberbier

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday November 12th at First Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes.

COVID-19 rules will be followed and masks are required. To attend the funeral please RSVP with the church at 218-329-6199.

A walk through visitation will be Wednesday November 11th from 5 to 7:00 PM at the Furey Funeral Home in Frazee.

Margie Ann Zuberbier nee Hinshaw (Mindermann) was born December 12, 1936 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota the daughter of Stanley and Cathryn (Gurdis) Hinshaw. She passed away November 6, 2020 at Oak Crossing Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes.

She grew up in the Detroit Lakes area and graduated from Detroit Lakes high school. On December 12, 1954 Margie was united in marriage to Alvin MIndermann. To this union five children were born. They made their home in Perham and Margie was a stay at home mother caring for the house and children. She and Alvin then retired in Vergas.

Margie worked as a home health aide, activities aide at Perham living and sold Avon. She loved going to card games, spending time with family and flower gardening.

She is survived by her husband Ron Zuberbier; children: Jerome (Diane) Mindermann, Suzanne (Charles) Bachmann, Patricia (Philip) deWeese; 9 grandchildren, 15 ½ great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents: Stanley and Cathryn Hinshaw; husband: Alvin Mindermann; sons: Michael Mindermann and Thomas Mindermann; brothers: Harold,  Merle, Kenneth, and Robert Hinshaw; sisters: Rose Hinshaw, and Patricia Estby.
