The funeral services for Lois Louise DelMain, 91, Frazee, MN will be held Monday, March 16, 2009, 11 a.m., at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Frazee, with Reverend William Aufdenkamp officiating. Burial will follow the service at Lakeside Cemetery in Frazee. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, March 15, 2009, at Furey Funeral Home in Frazee, from 2-5 p.m. with a prayer service at 5 p.m., and also one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday. Lois died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the Frazee Care Center.
Lois Louise Evans was born on July 3, 1917 to Fred and Mary (Gross) Evans in Height of Land, Minnesota. She married Neville DelMain. They spent most of their lives in Frazee, MN. Lois worked as a cook in the Frazee Public Schools, and also worked for the West Central Turkey Plant in Frazee and the Swift Turkey Plant in Detroit Lakes, MN.
Lois was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she served on their Alter Guild.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy (Jim) Brennan of Liberty, NY and Faye (Larry) Anderson of Melbourne Beach, FL; four sons, Kermit (Judy) DelMain of Cornucopia, WI, Darrell (Joyce) DelMain of Frazee, MN, David DelMain o Portland, OR, and Greg (Gloria) DelMain of Minnetrista, MN; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-one great, great grandchildren.
Preceding Lois in death are her husband Neville; two brothers, Fritz and Edward Evans; and four sisters, Marge Cady, Ruby Green, Jo Graham and Avis Schowe.
