James "Jim" Lamont

James Lamont, age 89 of Sartell, MN, formerly of Frazee. Passed away peacefully on April 28, 2020. Long-time resident and Superintendent of Schools in Frazee.

Survived by beloved wife of 69 years and high school sweetheart, Melva; children: Noah (Chris), Sara, Joshua (Lori), Jared (Carey); grandchildren: Rachael (Jeff), Emma, Rachel, Olivia (John), Charles, Lexie, Sophie and Sam, who were the light of his life; brother, Jason (Pat); sisters-in-law: Joyce and Nancy.

Preceded in death by parents: Sam and Theda; brothers: Jerry and Jeff.

Jim was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, volunteer, educator and so much more. His had a zest for life, love of travel and service to others throughout his life. He was a hard worker and set a good example for his family and provided well for them. He accomplished everything he was meant to be and do. His love and kindness will never be forgotten. We love you Dad!
