Geraldine "Geri" Jensen, age 77, of Frazee, MN, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at St. Mary's Essentia Health in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m., Monday, November 14, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frazee. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

Geraldine Ann Jensen, also known as Geri or Snookey to her family and friends was born into this world on June 24, 1939 to Richard and Vanda Pedersen at the Lake Navea Hospital in Albert Lea, MN.

Geri loved life, music, gardening and taking care of her family. Her love and care extended to her friends and former co-workers at St. Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes, where she worked for more than 40 years.

Geri and her husband, Ron, were married for more than 60 years, a milestone and standard they were very proud of.

Geri always placed her family first, and loved to experience and regale each adventure.
Her family will always love and keep her in their hearts, remembering swimming, canning tomato juice, snow sledding, storytelling, and most of all her strength to love which they will keep close to their hearts.

Geri is survived by her husband, Ronald "Ronnie"; her daughters: Sue (Gary) Zimmerman and Faith (Patrick) Dickey; grandchildren: Stephanie, Travis, Jeremy, Shawna, TJ and Tim; great grandchildren: Tyler, Allison, Bryce, Mia, Stella, Kole, Diego, Chaz, Gabriel and Isaac; sisters: Patricia (Duane) Skov and Sheryl (David) Grantham; and many other extended grand and great family members.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Vanda Pedersen; and Ron's parents, Violet and Alfred Jensen.
