David Peter Schram was born March 31, 1944 in Perham, Minnesota the son of Forrest and Theresa (Schueller) Schram. He passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Oak Crossing Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes.
He grew up and attended school in Frazee graduating from Frazee High School with the class of 1962. David began a career as an electrician and worked for Zitzow Electric and Land O Lakes over the years. He later owned and operated the Sawmill before retiring.
David had a great love for nature and all things outdoors. He was an avid outdoorsman who hunted, fished, and trapped all around the Frazee area. David’s hunting took him on trips to Montana and leading guided hunts in Colorado. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, trap shooting with his grandchildren, and attending their sporting events and school activities.
He is survived by his children: Chris (Irma) Schram of Frazee; Jennifer (Jerry) Moris of Perham; Tony (Nikki) Schram of Hibbing; Annie (Ryan) Vigen of Frazee; grandchildren: Alyssa Moris, Nathan Moris, Kendra Moris; Kate Vigen, Adam Vigen, Jaxen Current, and Charleigh Schram; brother: Bob (JoAnn) Schram of Hawaii.
David was preceded in death by his parents: Forrest and Theresa Schram; and a sister: Janice Woodard.
